Mosaics are one of the most
versatile of media. Being decorative and practical, mosaics
have many applications including floors, walls and
furniture.
Visually, a mosaic can be used in many ways. It can provide
a purely decorative surface or be an original way of
displaying information, for example, as a sign or company
logo. Every mosaic created by Mosaic Design is unique and
can be made to fit almost any size and shape. Classical or
contemporary, mosaics are flexible and stylish.
Each mosaic is carefully constructed by hand using tiny
cubes (tesserae) of either ceramic, glass or marble. These
materials provide a strong surface and a broad palette of
colours. Individual panels and borders are available to
